Manual Alignment

Manual alignment gives you more control over how scans are aligned

Head in to the Align Panel by clicking the [Align] button on the left of the screen.

Manually Aligning Scans

1. In the [Rigid] Tab, select two layers to display both models

2. Move and orient the models so that you can easily select a unique feature shown on both scans

3. Select [New Pair] and click a matching point on each model

4. Repeat step 3 until you have at least 3 pairs of matching points

5. Click [Apply]

6. Repeat steps as necessary to align more scans (layers) one by one
