Turning a Spherical box

This tutorial will explain how to turn a spherical box on a lathe.

In this video you will see the process and steps required to turn a box on the lathe. There are no instructions on the actually techniques required to do the turning but the Machine Workshop technicians can assist you with this. Once you understand the process you can design your own shape and turn a box.

Depending on the size and complexity of your design (and your skill level) this project could take you from one afternoon to several days to complete. This project requires an intermediate level of skill to complete.
