Router

The router is a portable power tool which holds a rotating spindle in place for a cutting head to perform different profile cuts.

Introduction

The router is a specialized rebate and profile tool which holds 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch cutters in its collet.

Two Good Reasons to Use the Router

Flexibility: The hand held router is available in two different sizes suiting both small and large work.

Variety of Applications: From profile cutting, to plunging out mortices, to creating rebates, following templates, making circles or cutting dovetails, there are infinite ways a router can be used.
