Radial Arm Saw

The Radial Arm Saw is a machine which uses the movement of a circular saw mounted on a sliding arm to accurately cut timber into desired lengths.

Introduction

The Radial Arm Saw is used for making 90 degree cuts in long pieces of timber up to 75mm thick and 400mm wide. It is only used on timber that is longer than it is wide.

Two Good Reasons To Use A 'Radial Arm Saw '

Accuracy The radial arm saw is mounted accurately along its sliding arm and will cut timber to a fine tolerance at 90degrees.

Quick Docking The radial arm saw is set along a large table capable of cutting long timber members, making it suitable for the initial processing of timber into more manageable sizes.
