# Video Tutorials

![Learn how to make this joint in Advanced Making](/files/-MG27cFZnHXW9D6Cgz1r)

This video library contains links to projects, techniques and general woodworking information that you could find useful for planning your next project.

The Build Projects library will take you through some common tasks (and some advanced ones) to help you start making something in the workshop.

In Advanced Making you will find a collection of specific techniques that you may wish to use in one of your projects. These techniques can add some complexity and difficulty to your work but they are worth learning.

The Tips and Techniques library contains general information about glues and finishing as well has hand and power tool techniques.

All of these videos feature highly skilled wood workers that are very familiar with the machines they are using. At times they may perform actions that we consider too dangerous for the machine workshop but our technicians are always available to show you how to do things safely.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://ms-kb.msd.unimelb.edu.au/machine-workshop/resources/video-library.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
