# Maker Spaces Inductions & Access

The Maker Spaces are advanced fabrication facilities which require students and staff to undergo specific [training and inductions](https://msd.unimelb.edu.au/maker-spaces/inductions-and-access-msd) before they can access the services and resources on offer. Safe usage of the facilities is a top priority, and most of the fabrication services available require at least one form of specialised training to engage with effectively.

This process is separated into three levels allowing you to complete only the training and inductions required to provide the level of access that you need.
