Hot Foam Wire Cutter

Setting Up the Wire Cutter

STEP 1

Make sure the Hot Foam Wire Cutter is OFF.

STEP 2

Around the arm lock, you can find a pivoting wedge block; move the block to wedge into position between the arm and extension.

STEP 2

Undo the wire spindle and pull out a length of wire from the coil before retightening.

STEP 3

Undo the wire adjust knob to release clamps found on the underside of the hot foam wire cutter, and thread the wire through the wire hole and between the clamps. Pull the wire gently through the hole and screw back the wire adjust knob to secure.

Make sure the wire is lead to go through the guide groove.

STEP 4

Move the pivoting wedge block out of position; the extension should spring up and naturally pull the wire into a taunt position.

Power On

STEP 1

Ensure cables are connected. Both wire cutter and foot pedal should each be connected to a powerpoint.

STEP 2

The power button can be found on the left side of the hot wire foam cutter. Turn on the power, and a light should blink on.

STEP 3

Step on the pedal to heat the wire every use.

Safety

Pedal Press Test

Step the pedal and take a spare piece of foam to check the wire is in operation. The wire cutter will not operate unless the pedal is being stepped on.

Adjust Heat

Use the temperature dial on the left side of the wire cutter to adjust the heat.
