# Plotter A Large Format Printing

## Things to know&#x20;

Being the fastest wide format printer, Plotter A is an ideal choice for doing basic large format printing.&#x20;

Make sure to bring in your files on USB stick, and to drag them onto the desktop!

## How to Print

1. Select ***MSD-Plotter A*** in drop down menu.
2. Go to ***Properties,*** then ***Paper/Quality*** tab.
3. If you are printing a standard A sized document, select your size in the dropdown menu under ***Document size*** (A0, A1, A2).
4. If you are printing a non-standard job, select ***Custom*** to open the custom sizing window.
5. Enter in your desired dimensions.&#x20;

**NOTE:** The maximum width that can be printed with plotter A is **841mm.** The length can be as long as you wish.

6. List a name for your dimension and click ***Save.***

7. Go to ***Layout/Output*** tab, change the settings as appropriate for your print.&#x20;
8. In ***Color*** tab, select Grayscale for Black and White prints and Color for color prints.

9. Go back to the main print window.&#x20;
10. Select **Page Setup** on the bottom left to check your paper size and click **OK**
11. Click **Print** and wait for the next pop-up window
12. Scan your card and your job will be sent to the queue.
13. At the release station, scan your card once again to send your job to the printer.
