# Metal Laser Post-Processing

### Metal Laser Cutting (FabLab)

The Metal Space can be used for post-processing and fabrication of your laser cut metal components.

* The [Metal Laser Cutter](https://ms-kb.msd.unimelb.edu.au/the-fablab/metal-laser-cutting/metal-laser-cutting) is operated as a [bureau service](https://ms-kb.msd.unimelb.edu.au/the-fablab/job-submission/job-submission-platform) by the FabLab.
* Many components require post-processing to remove burrs, tabs or modification. For this we request you book a Level 3 Metal Space Induction below.
* Common workflows involving Metal Laser Cut components include the Magna-Bend, Hydraulic Press, and Spot Welder. Consider booking your Metal Space Induction prior to designing your parts to better understand how they may fit together.
