Markdown versions of documentation pages are available by appending `.md` to page URLs; this page is available as [Markdown](https://ms-kb.msd.unimelb.edu.au/machine-workshop/spaces/metal-work-area/access.md). # Access ### The Metal Space is open during Machine Workshop Open Hours: Monday to Friday 10:00am to 12:00pm and 1:00pm to 5:00pm. **Before Accessing the Metal Space you will require a Level 1 and 2 induction as well as a Level 3 Metal Space Induction.** * **Path 1:** You have a metal space project in mind and require use of multiple machines. Book your Level 3 Metal Space induction below and please include details of your project so we can tailor the induction to your needs. * **Path 2:** You need to use one machine to accomplish a task. Come to the Machine Workshop during our open hours and we can induct you on Metal Space procedures and individual machines as needed. * **Path 3**: You need to post-process Metal Laser Cutter components. This will usually involve multiple machines so we request for you to book a Metal Space Induction below. {% embed url="" %}
