Windows-operated device quick set-up:

  1. Plug the Yeti microphone into a USB port on your computer using the provided USB cable

  2. From the Settings Menu, select the Control Panel

  3. From the Control Panel, select Hardware and Sound

  4. From the Hardware and Sound menu, select Manage Audio Devices

  5. Select the Playback tab, and select Yeti Stereo Microphone as your default device

  6. Select the Recording tab, and select Yeti Stereo Microphone as your default device

  7. Press OK, and exit the Control Panel

Apple device quick set-up:

  1. Plug the Yeti microphone into a USB port on your computer using the provided USB cable

  2. From the main Apple menu, select the "System Preferences"

  3. Select the "Sound" icon

  4. Now select the input tab and select "Yeti Stereo Microphone". Optimal "Input Volume" is 80%, it should be increased for an interview or decreased for loud sounds.

  5. Select the output tab and select "Yeti Stereo Microphone". Set the "Output Volume" to 100%. You now can control the headphone volume with the knob on the front of the Yeti.
